Gary’s knowledge of the legislative process and his advocacy in Tallahassee and have been incredibly valuable to the citizens of Washington County. From his roundtable education meetings with Gov. Bush, Lt. Gov. Education Commissioner Brogran, Commissioner Crist and Commissioner Gallagher, Clark has continually advocated for equity and enhancements of rural school systems.
Education remains the cornerstone of any great society. Washington County is certainly no exception. The students that advance through the Washington County School District continually excel in all areas of life including academic, workforce and technical achievement.
Increase School performance and student test scores

a. Prepare students for work and higher education

c. Academy recruiting with specialized course training

d. Enhance Current ESE and special education programs
With the explosive growth projections in Southern Washington County, plans are already being made and land is being acquired in order to respond and accommodate the future students in the best manner possible with new facilities conveniently located near the population centers.
My highest priority is to help make the Washington County School System “The District of Choice” in the State of Florida. - Gary Clark
